DOW positive , can the Dollar close up?

Gold & Energy stock indices down, and the CRB down -4%.
Gold had beter close in the green. What a crazy day.

I'm waiting for FNM to come in some more. My Put sales are
still fine, but initial calls aren't looking too good.

Watching GS, but the only thing I did today was sell some
LEH $10 & $15 April puts.

I wasn't alone... huuuuge volume.

Just toe dipping - for an interim bottom/Fed rate cut trade.

I've spent the last week up to my knees in mud, studying root
stock, and trying to buy some dirt... a lot of dirt actually.

Felt better, and safer, knee deep in mud - than trading
this tape.

I still think we break my HUI 520 (low end) target
off the Fed cut...and will see HUI 580 (high end) target,
if...and only if the BOJ doesn't move to knee-cap
the Yen-carry trade again.

Gold and gold stocks have come a loooong way - especially,
off those August lows (vbg).

YEN 98-100 (and USD 72) was the whisper... sub 96 (and USD 70) is big trouble.

We'll see if CB's move to support the dollar here.

And "when" can the IMF dump?

Be prepared. When would you dump for maximum effect -
if you were them?

Concerted efforts...multiply effect.

...so be prepared.
