The tax cuts only went to the upper crust. The Bush middleclass tax cuts were a mirage, a hoax. They have have given you $500, but with the other hand they ripped you off of $5,000 with energy, health care and education hikes, especially energy. And they are looting and bankrupting our common wealth and our treasury for trillions we will all have to pay for later. The debacle in Iraq alone is probably going to cost 3 trillion, nonje of which is paid for. Most of that huge debt will fall on the shoulders of the US middleclass, but if Bushies have their way the very rich will get off almost scott free.

The two biggest scams of all by Bushies are the "death tax"
talk (really a way for billionaires to avoid taxation) and privatizing Social Security. Those would be multi-trillion dollar ripoffs of you, me and everyone else except those at the very top.
