I hear conflicting signals. The possible suitor has alerted counterparties all over the world not to do business with Lehman. DBS has circulated memos saying not to play with the dirty boy.
On the other hand, overreaching bears could be dealt a hard blow with the aid of the fed.

Begs the question. Who makes the decision? Who must be lobbied, is Lehman lobbying hard enough to be allowed to survive?

It is disgusting. I am not allowed to call it a fraud. A fraud to clients, stockholders and last but not least, employees.
