Hey Mannie, We have two offers from Windmill companies for our land. We have a bit under a 1000 acres and the companies think that we may have ten to twelve spread across the ridge that runs down the edge of the property. Add that to the stripper well that has been there since 1962 and it is great residuals to add to the yearly take. We (sister and I) are holding off signing waiting to see which company is going to be the big dog in the area. One will win out with most of our neighbors. We will go the way that they do. Most of the farmers out there are brilliant businessmen. They have had to be making $3.50 wheat pay their bills for the last forty years. Most of them have been trading commodities using satellite feeds from CQG, here in Glenwood, since the early 80's. The old country bumpkin is long dead. Nice photo.... u been out on your bike again?
