Not sure what I'm going to do--hard to buy anything
when you don't see real capitulation. Fed is more than
willing to sacrifice the dollar in order to facilitate
an orderly unwinding. On the one hand it is good to be
in cash in a bear market--but on the other hand the
dollar has lost as much as stocks, screwed either way.

I've seen nothing but small positive gains for the past
five years. Pretty boring. And the only stock I've been
in for any length of time was of course Gene Logic--so
I'm not too keen to pick my own stocks.

I did have this thought though--if I see a good chance
for sort of a swingtrade (hold stuff for a few weeks
or months if the market is trending up) rather than screw
around with the microcaps I might move up the food
chain. Here is what I've scrawled on my post-it note so
far (I have not read recent news or threads so if you
see any stuff that looks suspect, let me know):
ARNA CRXL EXEL HGSI MEDX MYGN VRTX VPHM ZGEN

Seems like the size that is a notch safer than the
arql and infi's of the world.

Mostly today I was poking around at mutual funds however.
