How a talking head on the Newshour explained it wuz, that BSC didn't deserve rescue, but if they didn't bail it out, other dominoes would fall that IT owed money to. Once that started, there was not telling where it would end, because the FED, the SEC, NO ONE has a clue as to what crap liabilities are out there, propped up with spit and string.
