Until our 'stupid selves' get out of our own way, and start to drill for the oil we do have in this country, near our shores, use oil shale, use geothermal energy, etc etc etc....we are doomed to continue repeating the same thing we've done for a long time. Pay foreign countries for their oil. Remember, it is a commodity on the open market these days. Mobil, Exxon, and all the rest have to buy it like all the companies do. China, India, Japan, and so many other emerging countries will pay whatever they have to get the oil to help their economy flower. We are in the same line they are.
