Hi TJ:
I think I am beginning to see the light of what you have been saying and it scares the hell out of me. From BSC 10Q.

"As of November 30, 2007 and 2006, the Company had notional/contract amounts of approximately $13.40 trillion and $8.74 trillion, respectively,"

That's 22 trillion!! , even if thats "Notional" it's a mind boggling number. Considering much of it has MBS as it's collateral and considering the "collateral" i.e. Real Estate values are falling, what 15%,20%.

I have been trying to find out what BOC has on it's books as notional value,

If BSC is indicative of the amount of leverage other financial institutions and brokers are using, then you are correct it is too big even for the FED to rescue.

Now the problem of where to take cover or better still how to profit.

ya ya I know "buygold". :}
