What strikes me about this whole issue is what will happen after the election. Let's fast forward to the future for a moment. Obama is elected President, it's Easter Sunday. Does he go to his hometown church in Chicago? Does he go there next week, or next month when he's in town. He not only has to disavow the Pastor, he needs to unequivocally state he will not attend the sermons any longer. Otherwise, he accepts the hate speech, condones it, supports it financially and agrees with some of it. He cannot bridge the divide in this country, and be a uniter by aligning himself with divisive anti-American hate speech. It just doesn't work that way, unless you've drank from the Obama coolaid container. In this passage he is telling us something he denied just a day or two ago. "Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church?” Obama said. “Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely — just as I’m sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed.” Well then, why didn't you go across the street or around the block to another church? Why stay at this one church that preached hate for all things American? By the way, I've never heard in person a pastor or preacher speak words of hatred toward America from the alter or pulpit in church. That's just nuts. In the churches I attend people speak of love and forgiveness and helping your fellow man. Not hate. Certainly not hate for America or hate for a particular race of people! If they did. I would never set foot in the place again. It's as simple as that.
