No wonder you get such good replies, your account rep is also the Datek Operations Manager. I gues this means that your experience with Datek Support cannot be considered typical.

I must say that I have been reading this thread since July and you treat complainers pretty rough. I do appreciate your posts, but you should let others complain without fear of being roasted. The reality is that Datek has serious support problems and has had them for a while now. Granted, they say they are taking steps to remedy this.

I also have been been monitoring a day trader site and in a few hours of trading there were over 38 complaints about Datek alone. And they were mostly about getting fills on even high volume stocks and more importantly canceling trades. One of the participants mentioned that Datek admitted on the phone that they were having problems canceling trades today and this was borne out by a few traders experience.

It seems that every day since the end of August, there have been many problems with Datek. Of which I have had my share.

Am I giving a fair report? I think many feel the same way.
