That wouldn't be economic or financial measurement of energy efficiency.


It's a perfect use of the efficiency term when you are talking about economics. You were talking talking about "energy intensity" not energy efficiency in the economic sense.

And any increase in "energy intensity" has not kept up with "energy efficiency" (economic) in recent years. Not even close.
