Jeff: Unless somebody reorganized the company again without telling me, you're still the VP of R&D.

Would you be so kind as to enlighten me about the current status of FBN-Fixer ? According to our voluminous press releases, it is described as follows:

>>FBN-Fixer, a revolutionary biological code repair product. Web-based "date crawlers" will release themselves into COBOL source libraries at night while the code is resting, and repair the code according to the client's chosen remediation approach.<<

I got this disturbing phone call from the Bill Gates guy who has been calling so much lately. It seems he doubts that FBN-Fixer actually does what is advertised. Now, I've already taken care of the "technology enabled transformation" definition to his satisfaction (no kidding? ... it really does do things automatically? ... wow ...).

But, in regards to FBN-Fixer, he states that it is highly unlikely for a biological process to be reliable. He mentioned something about the chaos theory (I remember seeing that discussed in a recent movie about dinosaurs, I think).

So, in your opinion, should I try to snow this guy some more with techno-geek talk ... or should I just conveniently forget to call him back. He does seem to be such a pain. I could be spending my time authorizing many other devious investor bilking schemes, but instead I'm in conversations with this guy.

Oh, yeah ... and I'd like your opinion on the feasibility of Prayer2000. Can we somehow modify our existing generic data reduction algorithm (FBN-Nothingator) to generate Y2K prayers in Latin?

I hope you're enjoying your stay in Cabo San Lucas. It's really nice this time of the year. See you in Melbourne.

Regards,
