Energy efficiency (even "in the economic sense") has no direct connection with how much you pay for energy. Bull shit. On Tim's Libertarian Utopian Planet: It doesn't matter what we pay for energy, because it's the magical "market price". It doesn't matter that other developed nations pay 1/2 what we do for health care because ours is more of a "free market". *It doesn't matter that we pay what the rest of the world combined pays for "defense", because if we don't no one else will. Yet Tim wants lower taxes, because "deficits don't matter". Energy, health care, defense. The big spending issues. And you don't have a care in the world. Amazing....
