ss, Most people DO NOT understand Obama's church -- they see small snipits of just a few sermons and rush to a judgement...It's important to put things in context. But one thing is clear today. If Obama announced today that the church is a hate group that he is quitting, you would be celebrating his independence and leadership. Since Obama did not break his association, you and members of this thread are looking for excuses (for inexcusable). So it is clear that this is not a group of independent thinkers. Maybe you can put in context of what Rev. Wright was doing when he said that the US government created HIV and infected blacks with HIV. Or are you going to wait until Obama tells you what your position is on this issue? Joe
