I like your comments in this newer article: iqballatif.newsvine.com Within milliseconds after reading your "sermons of hate" comment I had a grainy, old black and white film of Hitler on the podium running in my memory...that was a state sponsored, industrialized hate factory. As was Japan, whose leader was a 'god' on earth. Power corrupts, and it seems as there is nothing more corrupting than a combination of religious and political power... But in the case of Rev. Wright, it is more a case of pandering of violence...or 'violence as entertainment' similar to many movies and bad TV shows. He seems to act as if his ambition is not moral guidance, but just in keeping the seats filled with paying, entertained customers. Your writing "I own up without remorse my political inclinations although my views are not in currency with my people..." tells me that you are not 'cut out' to be a politician... And concerning this article and Pakistani violence: iqballatif.newsvine.com America did not become a truly united states until having to endure the civil war...just like some individuals must undergo chemotherapy and radiation to kill the cancer before it kills them, so do some nations. But I really think Pakistan will come out of this - border to border - a true nation where all citizens will remember and respect the sacrifice it took to survive and prosper. Take care, Jerry
