What new or unique non-polemic, liberal/conservative political position does Barack Obama bring to the Democrat table? He offers very little beyond his speech delivery talent and possibly, blackness.

A pleasant man to listen to, no doubt about it; but to quote Kerry, beyond the smooth rhetoric, there's an absence of innate "gravitas" and common sense.

I'm afraid he's no match for Hillary; particularly when it comes to political foresight and cunning.
