I'm just relieved that we got a positive Oil Pipe update, and that it announces a material milestone that ACII will have an up and running, end user Oil Pipe threading system that can produce product. We went a long time without hearing about any progress, so for me, it's a relief. And if I may actually compliment their PR skills, the key points were emphasized:
Total Elimination of Coolant saves a 20% chunk of production cost; and just as significant, if not more so, it Eliminates "pitting" which can lead to damaging embolism under higher pressures (like deep sea drilling!) and very costly field repair.
A couple of years ago, back when we all that Rossmann was the answer, they were saying that they would realize the biggest profit by becoming the "end producer" but saw all of their initial business coming in with "scribe only" or installing LACC systems into customer manufacturing line.
But two years later, and no LACC revenue yet, all we're hearing now is "end user".
I take this as a very positive indication that the company has finished their detour and have been making significant strides toward becoming end user, manufacturing product in-house and delivering to customer.
I'd rather see a steady stream of news, no matter how thin they appear.
