Michael..Obama has a unique ability to 'take it to the people'..by that I mean, he doesn't hide from them on the stuff that he knows he's being attacked on like those things you talk about: flag pin/MrsO/soft on crime/...it's all stuff he'll take on if not indirectly in his town halls...he's already started ending his speeches, "God Bless America".. He should do a tour dressed up as Uncle Sam..
