Art Cashin on CNBC opined that the commodities sell-off is a result of the de-leveraging of the hedge funds. Sez that, because of the vaporization of Bear Stearns, the brokers have told the hedgies "no more ten-to-one, get your leverage down to five-to-one." Believes the general market may be putting in a bottom, hedge funds being forced to sell their winners, but the recent lows have to hold. FWIW.
