Well...if a buyout were to occur (my source says it is likely to occur---though he's not sure when---it could be 1-2 years), I'm sure the CHKR stock would instantly skyrocket. A highly volatile stock like that would probably command an upper-end price if CKE were to do any sort of trade or cash payment for the CHKR stock with the shareholders.

CHKR certainly should be a good long-term buy, since CKE has done so well with its main asset, Carls Jr., which is doing phenomenally well.

I think the reason the stock isn't rising now is that a lot of investors are waiting for a quarterly profit until they buy. We'll see...I'm still optimistic that this will happen this quarter.
