There is always a new turning point in the spin game. What drives me nuts is the media utterly ignoring the fact that AQ could never take over Iraq, even in their wildest dreams. Pacifying the country and making the place work relies on a whole other set of issues and actors.

But the media doesn't seem to think that is worth bothering about after five years of covering the same old crap, and knowing the majority of Americans just want us out soon.
