AMD will probably go up tomorrow, that sort of thing happens when cuts are made. Only if the size of the cuts are proportionate with the scale of the problems facing the corporation and its business model. In AMD's case 5% layoffs are just window dressing given the massive competitiveness and technology hole it finds itself in today.
