Wright's church is very large (with over 8000 members) and has many pastors. Obama's children are young and are in Sunday school classes...most of the teens are in youth group classes -- this is common in many of the larger churches in Chicago and across the country. Have you seen ANY children in the YouTube clips of Trinity Church when Wright was speaking...? I have not. Folks like Hannity, Rush, Scarborough, and Buchanan like to distill Wright's 30+ years of preaching down to a few very controversial sound bites. I would bet that MOST folks in the media have not listened to dozens of Wright's sermons ALL THE WAY THROUGH as context is important. And Obama has said more than once that he has heard Wright say some controversial things but doesn't agree with them. IMO, the media has done a VERY POOR job of examining Pastor Wright and his church...And I think it's reckless to run small clips of what someone said over and over again. Let's wait until a magazine like The New Yorker does a detailed article on Wright and his church -- then we'll get a serious and thorough examination of Obama's church. 60 Minutes is also one of the few media outlets that might drill down and provide some proper CONTEXT when it comes to understanding someone as complex as Pastor Wright.
