Is there a current account deficit? Yep, and huge.
The dollar must drop, especially if rates go lower.

And I believe that is the conundrum. every since I started trading a weak currency meant a greater risk of Inflation. this time all the overseas countries experienced the inflation even with their stronger currencies before we did, if you believe the BLS lies....

Another thought was that a weak dollar would cause a fire sale of all U.S. assets especially the Treasuries. Has this started to happen as I think you believe that its the U.S. govt. buying up the treasuries. Its this view I believe also, as I cant imagine buying them for any good reason or safe haven...BWDIK

One other thought, is that I keep hearing that this time isnt any different then anything in the past. On this point I differ. This time its the SYSTEM thats broken, not just one BANK. I've never seen a bank take down the system, like the system has taken down the BEAR......
