USD are becoming scarce.

If prices of things you need go up, they will be all the more valuable to you. Don't part with them for things you don't need.

Who really needs gold?

Hording gold is itself inflationary. If people were not digging up gold to store in vaults to keep it safe, they could be doing and producing something worth while.

Gold is an old traditional accounting system that has been replaced by paper money which is fast being replaced by digital record keeping.

No one is hording horses because they used to be used for transportation.

I'm a reformed gold bug.

It's a fun and euphoric game until the music stops and everyone but you is in cash and you're left holding after the bid has collapsed.

Markets always top out before most people think they will. If you think you will be selling to Joe6pack at some point, think again. That is and will be the last thing on his mind to do with what dollars he can get his hands on.

Even Grand Daddy bug Russell is hanging on to his cash.
