Like I said: measure by RESULTS.

By actions.

Results and actions are too different things. You can take actions that aren't crimes, but that are part of a chain of events that causes someone else to commit a crime.

If I tell someone he is a worthless PoS, and he gets angry and that anger smolders, and the next time someone insults him he shoots them, I'm not guilty of murder. The RESULT is a murder, but I didn't commit a crime.
