According to Vale, Ilva agreed to pay an 86.67% increase for the blast furnace pellet price.

Vale said that with the adjustment the new reference price is $2.202 per unit for pellets shipped from Vale's port in Tubarao.

"Vale reinforces its commitment with its customers, investing a substantial amount of resources to add new capacity of high quality pellets to meet their increasing demand, aiming to enhance our long-term relationship," the company said.
