McCain will be a WYSIWYG candidate, what you see is what you get. He will stand at attention and present his image to the voters. It won't be complicated or sophisticated but he does the act pretty well.

From there it will depend how his rival is perceived after all the food fights and turd tossing the first half of the year. And whether he makes any truly spectacular gaffes before then. I agree that the wrong slip could do him in.
