There might be a bit more downside in ng short term as everyone seems convinced that demand will slack off. The numbers I see (Robry and others) suggest that base demand is significantly larger than just a few years ago and a relatively ave. winter not only burned off the rather large overhangs in gas the last couple of years, we are going to end up well below the storage numbers from the past few years... and we have not had any weather events (hurricanes, bitter cold spells lasting weeks, etc.) in quite awhile...

So, yes, I agree that better risk/reward in energy right now is in ng -- esp. low-cost producers w/ proven resources.
