The timing of the article was perfect if you are short. You couldn't ask for a better environment to create FUD over EMKR.

EMKR has had plenty of promise over the years, yet they've always failed to generate positive bottom line numbers.

Few are willing to wait it out for a company whose past looks like EMKR's. Since their bottoming out in 2002, the chart is very positive, imo. Higher lows and higher highs. The recent action was a double top and that in itself is a good reason to sell off. This article just allows people like me to find another good entry point.

Given their solid technology and the high price of energy, one would expect their business to see a nice ramp. The analysts are expecting it, as is the company. The stock price will sort itself out, as it is now down 60% from the most recent high.

IMO, the future will be much better for the company then the past 6 years! The main question I have right now is how low the sellers will push this one? They pushed it down below 5 the last time. I'd love an opportunity to buy in the $4 range!

good luck,
