Hmm. Interesting.

Still not too late for the '08 general. I sometimes wonder... if Obama doesn't get the Dem nom if he might go independent. He would get the black vote, he would get the Obamaniacs for sure, the young vote, probably the latte liberals, and maybe enough independents to triangulate himself into first place. Put Hagel in the VP position and you could pull in some moderate Republicans.....

And he's proven he can raise money which is always a big problem for a third party in the US.
