Yes, I'm saying that you're not...(gasp)...disinterested. Do you disagree with that?

Interestingly enough, we both carry "interest" into our political discussions. We are, after all, from that otherwise unusual specie, humans.

Neither of us occupy some "objective" analytical place. We all occupy "interested" places in the political spectrum, even those who, like yourself, wish to do so outside political parties.

And surely you also know that interest compromises analysis.

Actually it doesn't; it depends on how we choose to handle our "interested" place.

You just can't bring yourself to do so in a case where that might give aid and comfort to the binary enemy.

It would also be helpful if you dropped the motive speculation. If we knew one another outside SI, fine. But we don't.

As for the "huffy" comment, I actually thought I was being considerate. But there you go.

To repeat, let's drop the personal stuff. These conversations are quite helpful to some of us. I've found my attempts to work through some of the Wright stuff in conversations with folk on this thread, very helpful. But the personal stuff just gets in the way.
