Is there any truth to it, that there are oil subsidies? Yes. There were, if I remember right, about $12 Billion in the last energy bill of the Rep congress. In addition they get sweetheart deals on oil leases; when they pay at all. Also there are tax deductions and credits for exploration... and a bunch of other stuff. I don't know all of it...
