I don't know about you, but I find it more than a little unnerving that a small group of unelected officials have decided to go into the mortgage lending business using what at the end of the day is the taxpayer's money

If 2008 is really the proxy for 1930 or 1931 as opposed to 1933 in the unwinding process, throwing all the forces toward mitigating the losses to date before the crisis has even bloomed could be a disaster beyond proportion

A true cynic might be tempted to think that this is just the creation of a last avenue of escape for the elite before the whole corrupt house comes crashing down
