I doubt that the government will find it necessary to provide security details for family members around the world, any more than they do now.

I said that these questions sounded like xenophobia because of comments like those in the article or blog post you referred to, where the author spoke of distant relatives in places like China. The fact that a US President might be somehow related to people living in foreign countries is not a cause for alarm or concern, in my view.
