Bill, RE: "Will it be aimed at the server market? Others have mentioned the upward capability vis-a-vis X86 software. With so many inputting it should be very capable." Yes to the server market application. Intel has made it very clear that the "older" 32 bit architectures would co-exist with Merced. So, home PCs, light business PCs and workstations ---> 32 bit; servers ---> 64 bit. BTW, IBM just announced a slew of new (1999) products slated to use Merced. Tony
