CHANDLER, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1997--ADFlex Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:AFLX) Tuesday announced that Neil Dial, an industry executive with more than 18 years experience in electronics manufacturing, has joined the company as executive vice president, operations. Most recently, Dial resided in Asia while serving as president of Alphatec Electronics PCL, a Bangkok, Thailand-based manufacturing division of Alphatec Electronics Corp., performing assembly and tests of integrated electronic components for OEMs. The PCL division had revenues of more than $100 million in 1996. Formerly, Dial was a manufacturing executive for Motorola Inc., in Austin, Texas, where he directed the Memory and Microprocessors Semiconductor Group Worldwide Final Manufacturing Operations that support a $3 billion business in the computing and telecommunications markets. In that position, Dial oversaw Motorola's worldwide operations in advanced packaging, including development, assembly, test and process equipment engineering and manufacturing. Dial joined Motorola in 1983 and held various management positions within the company's manufacturing operations. From 1991 to 1994, he resided in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where he was assistant general manager of Motorola's manufacturing facility and responsible for 5,100 employees. Dial began his career in manufacturing in 1981 with Texas Instruments Inc., in Houston. He earned a master's degree in business administration in 1977 from the University of Colorado.
