They may be human, but scientists in the hard sciences seem to look at everything as an experiment. I don't find other people to be as open to reality testing. I don't think I do know any gullible scientists personally. I know off the wall scientists, who are willing to entertain all kinds of ideas- but they don't "believe" in them. They entertain their ideas, without asking them to move in permanently. I think scientific training might have some affect on people who undergo it- or scientific people are attracted to the sciences because they are doubters and testers.
