What you posted is very thoughtful. I was very heartened to see the genuine feelings of Gov. Richardson during his speech endorsing Obama. This was a very genuine (non-political) endorsement considering that the Gov.watched Super Bowl sitting next to Bill Clinton at the stadium just 6 weeks. It does not take courage but conscience on Richardson's part to publicly declare that he picked up the phone and decided to endorse Obama after listening to his speech on race. And the key according to Richardson: Obama spoke to them like adults. With a single stroke Richardson drove a dagger through the hearts of racist bloggers. similar to John McCain episode with Cunningham. Makes us "really" proud to say that we are Americans, isn't it?
