Al, Let's conveniently ignore that the state of Nevada has blocked the site through legal action...let's forget that 2/3 of Nevada opposes it, then consider Sr Reid's position...and blame it all on environmentalists. You can certainly understand the NIMBY crowd. Their self interest (NIMBY) and their position are aligned. With environmentalists, opposition to nuclear power is against their professed interes (cleaner environment, less polution, lower CO2 output). The thing about environmentalists is that they are too stupid to realize this. Look...you are typical of so called conservatives. If you can't find something wrong, look further. I said I would be all for it for my own use, if I were an energy wasting suburbanite. But I live in an apartment building and I have no use for it. What I questioned was a massive rollout before the technology is perfected. I am for a gradual rollout, so that problems are solved as they appear. These things didn't ROI before 3mile island...they still don't....environmentalists or not. Link please. Joe
