One good way to 'fix' that is tune in to internet, go to Drudge, and at the bottom, see the headlines for CNN (leftist pov) and FOX (right pov) and then look at The Drudge Report...sometimes serious news links, and sometimes, stuff that would be on Vanity, or tabliods, or on NYT or WaPo.....
That overview will give you a heads up for happenings in the world that day or two....
When my kids were little, and we spent lots of nights giving feedings, changes, etc....I read each Time, Newsweek, and US Report, cover to cover each week......(wanted to be able to talk about something other than kids and diapers at cocktail parties <ggg>) ....but now all three of those mags are much more left in pov.
Take a look at each mag today, read an article or two, and check to see all the adjectives and adverbs if you want to confirm what I just said.... You will see by the descriptors which way they are leaning. |
