No one has said much today about Richardson's endorsement of Obama.

I take it as a real blow to the Clinton campaign, and I'd think it would help Obama out, at least a little.

The most interesting thing about it for me was how it was the clearest example to date of a superdelegate 'voting his conscience' without regard to other factors. Richardson didn't follow the will of the voters in his state because NM went for Hillary. And he didn't follow the will of his natural constituency, Hispanics, who are reported as disproportionately voting for Hillary.

Does Richardson's example make it difficult for pundits to make the case that the supers should vote in accordance to the will of the people?

In fact, Nancy Pelosi has tried to make this same argument to some extent just recently.
