...t's time for the Black community to stand tall against the Wright's and Farrakhan's of this world. There is a natural tendency to close ranks, to defend the group to the detriment of whole. Its not a "black" issue - it's a "people" issue. Look at history and you'll see whole societies which have clung to their victim myths for hundreds if not thousands of years. However, the believability - and the power - of the victimology narrative will be forever diminished if he is elected. If he does get the Dem nomination, and if he is elected, that will be a unappreciated but very welcome byproduct.
