I have just bought ... why?

Hi Bill, Marie ....

I bought a block a few days ago and have been watching this board.
Thanks for your replies to my earlier posting.

Trading is very thin as has been pointed out in earlier messages,
but I dont see this as any big deal. I guess unless there are any
significant announcements, thats how it will stay. As pointed out in
an earlier posting, there isn't much buying but more importantly,
there isn't much selling. At a later stage when the institutions start
to get interested, it could move very quickly.
I'm planning to hang in for a few quarters
unless I have a change of heart. I think this is a growth area.

The reason I bought was because of the area the company is involved
in. The whole area of decision-support type systems is really taking
off. The company I work in has invested heavily in this area and a
lot of our competitors have too of necessity. Over the next five
years, I think most medium to large enterprises will invest in this
expertise. From what I can gather, the company seems well-positioned
in terms of human technical expertise through its association with the
university. I guess the combination of human expertise and a growth
area is what made me take the plunge.

I once worked in a university spin-off company. Such companies
generally have enormous potential. Our failing was business acumen. We
had plenty of technically excellent people but
our business strategy was very weak. However, this was a much smaller
concern than CGIX. I expect this is not a problem for CGIX.

Anyway, I am always watching for news. So please keep posting as you
come across it.

\ Duke.
