Kate, For about the first time in my life I am sympathetic with the Clintons. If there has ever been an example of media bias the early primary season was it. For years we Republicans have claimed it existed and we have been laughed at. The Clintons now have been subjected to it hugely (and it was not the great right wing conspiracy)- until the last couple of weeks. The Wright tapes have been out there apparently for a long time. Several voices in the wilderness raised questions about Obama's association with Wright but there was no traction. Now - it is all over the news. This stuff should have been out before Iowa. The media did not do their job. Obama was not properly vetted. I can now clearly see a Clinton route to the nomination. If Hillary wins the remaining primaries big the case can easily be made that had the info been in the election the current results would be different. Big wins in the remaining primaries and a big lead in the polls can easily make Hillary the nominee. I still wonder why now? If this was orchestrated by Republicans it would have been best in October with Obama as the nominee. There is a huge story to be found in - why now!
