I have seen enough to appreciate that the majority of Wright's sermons and actions were positive in nature.

You and another poster here raised the assertion that Obama is half white. Why would this be an issue, I mean really if a unknown white man was running for President and he found himself in an identical church setting with his spiritual leader would it be any different?

I have attended Episcopal and Catholic services many times in the past, I never heard in church any of this hatred about gays, blacks, immigrants, etc. I only heard positive Christian values.

Now did you see the comment from the one woman in the ABC interview, about being black in America? How about Michelle's comments about being proud. These are indicative to me of negative mindset.

In the north or the west, were I have lived I am not so sure "life in America" is so much dependent on your race as it is your economic standing. I really cant say about the South.

I imagine if I was born black and poor I would not be too excited either with the crime rates where they are. 40 years of progressive action and where is the black community today? Statistically blacks are more likely to be a violent crime victims in the USA. There are many very depressing statistics and what was their communities response to Bill Cosby's comments?

Obama should have found another church or convinced his spiritual leader that his negative rantings were undoing his good teachings. We already see plenty of evidence that these types of black leaders have led their community into a very bad condition.
