You're assuming something that is not in evidence. I agree that we can't generalize from those snippets the content of his other sermons and speeches. However When I first heard Michelle's comment I was chilled. I didn't react like the gang who questioned her patriotism but I did sense something discordant in what she said. After pondering it for a while, I attribute my reaction to my surprise and concern that someone like her would so display what I took to be the influence of Black Liberation Theology. Now, it was well before this kerfuffle over Wright that I recognized that influence in her and was wary of it. Given that, I'm hardly surprised that Bob or anyone else would draw the same conclusion post kerfuffle. I don't know where Michelle's influence came from. Perhaps she grew up with it well before Wright had an opportunity to influence her. I don't think it matters to the point on the table. My point is that you don't have to assume in evidence any facts about Wright's influence to identify the basis for Michelle's comment.
