You're acting childish. Or you're un-American. Obama is likely to be the next President and, unless I missed something in your sarcasm, you think he and his policies would be a joke.

In the Primaries, the parties do not choose candidates. They choose one candidate.

The Republicans chose McCain.

The Democrats are about to choose Obama.

I think it's really been done for Hillary for awhile. She was hoping for a miracle or couldn't face reality. Hillary's unwillingness or inability to face reality, and her strategy to stay [on] the course no matter what, with deficit spending and loaning the campaign her and Bill's money, is as close as politics gets to mirroring Bush II and McCain in Iraq.

She had no exit strategy and really had almost no post-2/5/2008 strategy.

She expected to be greeted with flowers and "chocolates" and praise. She thought "shock and awe" was a strategy.

She mis-underestimated.
