you might be surprised. the moon walk, jfk, rfk, other things of the like are apart from AIDS and the like. the former can not be proven by scientists. AIDS is matter of pure data. and you might, think seems you would be?, surprised the honor the average, or dare i say 'typical', person has for scientists. they, in general (and that non-religious thing comes in), to be apart from politics. from sides. from personal gain. and the 'typical' person might not understand the data in an intellectual way, but parse it to a general level, and they will listen. granted at times scientists have done the bidding of a govt., but by and large they don't, and people trust them not to do so. |
