I think we are in uncharted territory as far as the economic history of this country is concerned. It is not 1929 nor 1937, nor the 70's.

Never before have we suffered a combination of double digit inflation combined with interest rates in very low single digits.
Never before have we dealt with the loss of the reserve status of our currency.
Never before we have taken so many giant steps towards socialism and erosion of personal and economic freedoms.
Never before this country was so dependent on purchases of our debt by foreigners.
Never before so many have been ripped off by so few in broad daylight.
